The Western Grand Forks Soil Conservation District, North Dakota rents out a 16 foot Uni-Blade. The following are testimonials of satisfied customers: "The Uni-Blade is
excellent for cleaning existing drains. It is fast, and doesn't leave piles
of dirt." "We used the Uni-Blade
on our farm in October of '96 with a Versatile tractor. We used it several
days, cleaned many drains, and never as much as replaced a bolt or repaired.
We were particularly pleased with the work done, and the possibility of what
could be done. It is easy to operate, stands up well, and does a good job."
" Easy to operate.
What I bladed in 3 hours, it would have taken two days with my scraper." "I used the Soil
Conservation District soil scraper. First on moleboard plowing, and I found
I had to watch the depth on the first and second passes. On the second field,
I used it on chisel plowing, and it worked very well. The third field I went
on was unworked navy bean ground - this worked the best for me. Overall I
was very pleased with the work." Village of St. Brieux January 17, 1997 Assie Industries Ltd.
Dear Mr. Assie, The Village of St. Brieux purchased an Assie Industries Uniblade in 1989 and was one of the first blades manufactured by your company with a Serial number of 12. At the same time we purchased a brand new Case International front wheel assist tractor. This tractor has approximately 10, 000 hours on the clock, of which we used mostly to operate the Uniblade. I have been operating the Uniblade over this period of eight years and have used the Uniblade to trench, build roads, lay asphalt, do snow removal and general street maintenance around the village of St. Brieux. We have been able to utilize just one tractor, which has kept operational costs down. The Uniblade has been trouble free with only regular maintenance required ex: greasing, one hose replacement, etc. As the Village Maintenance Supervisor, I would highly recommend the purchase of Assie Industries Uniblades. They are multifunctional and long lasting. Sincerely, Roger Leray |
